Experiential Learning Abroad
Engaging in research abroad can be an exciting way to travel and meet the global research community. We included resources to start your search and recommend connecting with Education Abroad as you explore options. Our campus has established relationships with programs that provide a range of research opportunities abroad. Some of these programs provide financial support for participants, but most involve expenses. CRDDS specializes in working with digital projects and computational approaches in the humanities and social sciences. CRDDS experts contribute to outreach and programming that engage faculty and students and in new forms of scholarship, offer workshops and other forms of instruction on digital tools and methodologies, and collaborate on teaching courses related to digital scholarship.

Summer Programs
Summer is a vibrant time for undergraduate research with many opportunities to gain experience and funding. These programs are valuable for a wide range of reasons but are mostly intended for students applying to graduate or professional schools. With deadlines mostly in January and February, the Fall term is a good time to start looking at opportunities for summer and find the best fit for you. We highlight a wide range of programs here and encourage you to expand your search if you don't see anything of interest. Programs are offered in most fields of study (not just STEM). And most programs provide funding to accepted participants! As you explore, keep in mind that some programs offer entry-level positions while others are seeking students with more experience. Pay attention to the individual program deadlines, which vary widely, and mark your calendar to stay on track.
Post-Baccalaureate Programs
Post-baccalaureate, often referred to as 鈥減ost-bac鈥 programs, are designed to help a recent college graduates gain experience for graduate or professional school. They can be especially valuable for students undecided about their postgrad plans.
Pre-Health Pathways
Some of these programs are intended for students with prior experience, but many are designed as entry-level opportunities for students with little to no experience. If you're considering postgrad education, such as medical school, you might look for programs hosted at institutions you're considering. You can learn about the school, location, and even make connections to assist your application in the future.
