<p>Michael Brown, one of the world鈥檚 most accomplished adventure filmmakers and a CU-Boulder alumnus, will share his story during his talk 鈥淏eyond the Summit鈥 at the Back to Boulder Luncheon. The luncheon, to be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom, is free for all CU-Boulder students.</p>- <p>Sean Wiese鈥檚 project for a computer science class last year has been developed into a software application now being used by a Boulder nonprofit, and also led to an internship for Wiese with the nonprofit.</p>

<p>Colorado business leaders鈥 attitudes remained almost unchanged going into the fourth quarter, according to the most recent quarterly Leeds Business Confidence Index, or LBCI, released today by the 麻豆免费版下载鈥檚 Leeds School of Business.</p>
<p>The LBCI鈥檚 reading remained positive, above the critical mark of 50, but fell from 53.6 in the third quarter to 51.6 in the fourth. <p>During the presentation, which will begin at 3 p.m. in the lobby of Andrews Hall, home of the Engineering Honors Program, Brand will share his experiences from the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project and three space shuttle missions, in addition to presenting the award. <p>More than 75 students and dozens of alumni of the University of Colorado Law School will teach a lesson on the Fourth Amendment in more than 100 high school classrooms throughout Colorado the week of Sept. 17- 21 in recognition of Constitution Day.</p>

<p>Salazar鈥檚 talk is part of a conference titled 鈥淭he Nation Possessed:鈥═he Conflicting Claims on America鈥檚 Public Lands鈥 being held at CU-Boulder Sept. 11-14. The conference is sponsored by the Center of the American West and the Public Lands Foundation.</p> - <p>Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court will give the keynote address at the University of Colorado Law School鈥檚 Gathering of the Bench and Bar Conference to be held Sept. 19-21 in Boulder.</p>
