<p>A free, downloadable guide for individuals who want to collect baseline data on their well water quality and monitor their groundwater quantity over time was released this week by the �鶹��Ѱ�����’s Colorado Water and Energy Research Center (CWERC).</p>

<p>This spring break, CU-Boulder's <a href="http://volunteer.colorado.edu/alternativebreaks">Alternative Breaks Program</a> has sent students far and wide to engage in community-based service projects.</p>

<p>Two things set the �鶹��Ѱ�����'s <a href="http://www.colorado.edu/publicachievement/">Public Achievement</a> program apart from other service learning and civic engagement initiatives: mentorship and empowerment.</p>

<p>Students, scholars and media professionals will discuss media “in the fast-paced world of digital journalism” at a �鶹��Ѱ����� symposium March 14-15.</p>
<p><span id="">CU-Boulder’s <a href="http://journalism.colorado.edu/">Journalism and Mass Communication</a> program will host the conference including two talks that are free and open to the public.</span></p>

<p>DENVER – Five members of the University of Colorado community are recipients of the 2014 Thomas Jefferson Award, among the highest honors given at CU, the state’s flagship university. </p>

<p><span>The �鶹��Ѱ����� has pledged to double the number of CU-Boulder students who participate in an international educational experience by 2020. </span><span>The commitment, which will be implemented by CU-Boulder’s </span><a href="http://studyabroad.colorado.edu/">Study Abroad Programs</a><span> office, is part of the Generation Study Abroad pledge launched today by the Institute of International Education (IIE). </span></p>

<p>The �鶹��Ѱ�����’s Real Estate Council will hold its 17th annual forum Wednesday, March 5, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Denver Marriott City Center.</p>

<p>Following on the heels of its nationally recognized anti-violence school tours based on “The Tempest” and “Twelfth Night,” the <a href="http://www.coloradoshakes.org/">Colorado Shakespeare Festival</a> has hit the road with a new production of “Much Ado About Nothing.”</p>

<p>A renowned Seoul-based artist will use steel ground into a fine, black powder to write calligraphic inscriptions on the floor of the CU-Boulder Visual Arts Complex on Feb. 11, followed by a performance-art piece and a lecture by the artist.</p>
<p>This is one of several free events during the two-week residency of Kim Jongku at the �鶹��Ѱ����� Department of Art and Art History. Kim works in sculpture, video, painting and photography and will be in residency here Feb. 3 to Feb. 14.</p>
