Mission Statement

At SWE Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, we are focused on building an inclusive community of strong female engineers, while remaining open to all who support these groups in STEM.  Our goal is to establish a secure and substantial support system for the collegiate to professional transition, by giving back through our various outreach programs, furthering opportunities for our members and cultivating a strong network within the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcommunity.

SWE at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ supports the professional development of our members through a variety of events including workshops with various companies, networking nights, coffee chats, and SWE National conferences. We offer outreach programs for girls in elementary, middle, and high school. These programs are designed to spark enthusiasm to explore engineering. Additionally, we host weekly social events for our members including study nights, interview and resume workshops, trivia nights, and meet your major events. These events provide opportunities for our members to get to know each other and build long-lasting networks in an environment beyond the classroom. From outreach events to socials and professional development, SWE is about building community.
