Security Technology Services

Security Technology Services is a core function of the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder Division of Public Safety, responsible for designing, operating, and sustaining the electronic security systems that protect people, facilities, and critical infrastructure across campus.Ìý

Our work supports prevention, visibility, and rapid response—helping reduce risk, maintain continuity of operations, and ensure campus spaces remain safe, accessible, and functional. We partner closely with campus departments to implement security technology that is reliable, scalable, and aligned with university policies, operational needs, and best practices.Ìý

From access control and video management to intrusion detection and system monitoring, Security Technology Services provides expert guidance, responsive support, and long-term stewardship of systems that the campus community depends on every day.Ìý

Electronic Access Control

We support departments with access needs and permissions, system configuration and troubleshooting, panic buttons and alarm systems.

  • For issues regarding mechanical access (keys, locks, door hardware), ADA openers, and urgent after-hours security technology issues call 303-492-5522

We support system access for Video Management Systems (Genetec) and CCure, including:
