Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEmergency Medical Services (Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEMS) is a student-led emergency medical service within the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder Division of Public Safety, providing pre-hospital medical care during select campus events.Ìý

The program began in 2004 and since then, Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEMS has trained hundreds of students in basic life support, hosted clinical and educational programming, and helped prepare future physicians, nurses, paramedics, and first responders. The program is partnered with the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØAnschutz Medical Campus to provide clinical oversight and adherence to professional emergency medical standards. The organization remains student-led; combining professional standards and institutional support with student initiative, leadership, and service.Ìý

Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEMS also offers non-medical involvement through our volunteer program, where students support injury prevention, harm-reduction education, AED awareness, and campus wellness outreach.Ìý

Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEMS EMTs deliver on-site Basic Life Support care, conduct medical assessments, and coordinate with local emergency services, as needed. By providing rapid response and early intervention, Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEMS helps bridge the critical gap between the onset of a medical emergency and the arrival of advanced care.Ìý
