Plant community ecology
I study how plant communities respond to environmental change and how ecological knowledge can improve the restoration of degraded ecosystems.Ìý
My research explores how characteristics of individual plant species, such as their growth strategies and tolerance of environmental stress, influence ecosystem functioning and recovery. By connecting ecological theory with practical restoration strategies, my work aims to help ecosystems recover from disturbances and become more resilient to climate change.
