Protecting Antarctic waters: The Ross Sea and beyond
This 4pm talk explores the international effort to establish the Ross Sea Marine Protected Area—the largest no-take marine protected area in the world—and the challenges of expanding protection across Antarctica. The event is part of the 2-day long Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSustainability Research Summit.

Meet the scientists and explore the labs behind INSTAAR's greenhouse gas research. Posters and refreshments at 5pm, talk at 6pm, and then guided tours of the radiocarbon and stable isotope labs.

A 476-acre foothills watershed near Boulder, gifted to Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØby Linda Holubar Sanabria, is managed by INSTAAR as a living lab for research, education, and community groups.
