鈥If we want educational environments that support all students, it is clear that we actually have to involve them in creating those environments - to structure their voices into them.鈥

Are you an undergraduate student who is curious about disruptive pedagogies, has an interest in or experience with consulting or community-engagement, and is equity-minded? Do you have insights about how instructors might respond to the continuous disruptions of generative AI or work with community partners?
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hiring a team of undergraduate student consultants to partner with faculty to improve the teaching and learning experience through the 鈥Students as Pedagogical Partners鈥 initiative. This initiative positions students as collaborators with faculty, staff, and peers in transforming the educational experience. Through interdependent partnerships, undergraduate students and faculty collaborate to develop, revise, or co-create course content, develop strategies to make learning more accessible, and co-design projects.聽
We have two versions of Students as Partners in AY2026 - 2027. One will focus specifically on working with community partners to develop community-engaged activities in an undergraduate course. If you are interested in developing partnerships with communities outside of the University, please include that in your statement of interest.聽
