Winter Session returns with over 40 lower-division and upper-division online courses to help you earn credit and work toward degree completion. Classes run for three weeks from Dec. 14 to Jan. 4, with enrollment beginning Nov. 2. Discover courses that fit your major and interests while shortening your time to graduation.

Available for reservation by campus departments and student organizations, the Zoom Room is ready to help you connect participants on campus and across the globe.

To help employees complete required training, �鶹��Ѱ�����Boulder will automate reminders for existing mandatory trainings through Percipio starting Oct. 20. 

Employees required to complete or renew training will receive assignments and reminders directly through Percipio. This process will simplify training completion and increase awareness of required training across campus. 

Mandatory training helps create a safe, respectful and accountable university community. By completing training, employees gain a shared understanding of university policies, expectations and responsibilities. These trainings support compliance, reduce risk, and help ensure a positive environment where all campus members can learn, work and thrive. 

Trainings included in Percipio reminders:

Nondiscrimination, Sexual Misconduct and Reporting Training.

• Required for new hires within 30 days of employment 
• Required every three years for faculty and staff

Starting Oct. 20, employees due to complete or retake training will receive notifications through Percipio from no-reply@percipio.com. Reminder emails will be sent before the due date until the training is completed. 

Employees can review assigned and completed training by logging into .  

• Once logged in, select your profile icon with initials in the upper right corner and choose “My Learning.”  
• The employee dashboard shows assigned and recently completed trainings.

The Brain Music Lab at the �鶹��Ѱ����� is recruiting participants for a research study investigating musically induced nostalgia.

Compensation includes entry into a $50 Amazon gift card drawing if you qualify for and complete a computer-based survey (30 minutes to 1 hour), as well as a $10 an hour Amazon gift card if you qualify for and complete a Zoom interview (1 to 2 hours; consent to record required).

Eligible participants must be 18 years of age or older, have normal or corrected-to-normal hearing and be able to think of a few songs that make you think of nostalgic life experiences involving other people.

Love creating content? Want your work to make a difference? The Ours to Own Media Project is hiring students for a paid creative cohort to help communicate the growing movement toward community ownership and economic democracy.

From worker-owned businesses to community land trusts and cooperatives, people across the country are reimagining who owns and benefits from local economies. As part of the cohort, you'll work alongside fellow student creators to share their stories with new audiences online.

In this position, you will create engaging posts, reels and short videos for social media, turn big ideas into clear, shareable content, highlight real people and organizations building community wealth and collaborate with a cohort of student creators to grow an online audience. 

Undergraduate and graduate students from any major or program with an eye for content and an interest in social or economic justice are encouraged to No background in economics is required. 

This is a paid position with a stipend of $1,000 a month for three months. There are required on-campus sessions on select Friday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 16, Oct. 30 and Nov. 20. The cohort will last three months beginning Oct. 16 and the deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 9. 

The Integrative Physiology of Aging Lab is looking for volunteers to study how a woman’s pregnancy history influences heart and brain function after menopause.

To participate, volunteers must be postmenopausal women, have given birth, and not be currently using any form or type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Participants will receive monetary compensation for time, a detailed blood panel (cholesterol, glucose, etc.), blood pressure screening and information on blood vessel function. 

The Integrative Physiology of Aging Lab at �鶹��Ѱ�����Boulder is seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical research study. They are looking for adults, ages 40-plus, who are willing to participate in water-immersion sessions approximately three times per week for 12 weeks and have above-normal blood pressure (a top number of 115 or higher; if you are unsure of your blood pressure, please still contact the lab for screening). 

Benefits for volunteers include: cardiovascular health assessment, exercise stress test, body composition, blood chemistries and monetary compensation for time.

Every discipline has its grind. Every idea has its moment of liftoff. For TEDxCU’s 15th anniversary, we want to hear yours. What did you build before your idea could fly, and where could it take us next?

Kylan Ganger, a �鶹��Ѱ�����Boulder Leeds alum, is building a tool to help people find relevant job opportunities faster.

Ganger is looking to speak with students and members of the �鶹��Ѱ�����community who are actively searching for jobs or internships. In a casual, 20-minute conversation, his goals are to learn how you search, which tools you use and what you find frustrating.

No preparation is needed. This is an independent product discovery project, not a university research study. Participation is voluntary and unpaid.

The LGBTQ+ Allyship in Higher Education workshop is back in person for the 2026-27 academic year. This interactive session helps faculty, staff and student leaders build greater awareness, understanding and skills to foster inclusive and affirming environments for LGBTQ+ students. Departments, offices and campus groups can request a workshop tailored to their audience and needs. Contact The Center for Cultural Connections & Community to schedule a session for your team.

Workshops can be requested by undergraduate student groups, classes, residence halls and campus organizations. Requests are subject to facilitator availability and scheduling timelines, and must be submitted at least four weeks in advance.

The �鶹��Ѱ�����Research Computing group (CURC) invites you to take a brief, anonymous about your AI research needs. CURC is gathering feedback on computer hardware, software, data storage, educational training and technical support requirements to better understand the barriers researchers face. Your input will directly help improve AI support across �鶹��Ѱ�����and partner institutions. 

The survey will be active until October 7, 2026.
