Academic advising at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder operates within a federated framework that reflects shared practices and priorities, and an understanding of advising as a scholarly profession. Our advising model embeds advising units within Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder colleges, schools and programs, while the Office of Undergraduate Education provides campus-level leadership and coordination to support student success priorities and guide the ongoing development of the shared advising practices and standards.
The Office of Undergraduate Education supports the advising community by:
- Sponsoring the community-wide Advisory Board
- Hosting community-wide events
- Offering training and professional development opportunities
- Hosting the academic journal, Palimpsest
- Maintaining internal resources for advising and coaching staff on the internal drive, COMPASS
