- <p>The Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ's 63rd annual Conference on World Affairs returns to campus April 4-8 with over 200 events including talks, panel discussions and a plenary address by Graham Nash and David Crosby, all of which are free and open to the public.</p>
- <p>Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, will speak at the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ's Macky Auditorium on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. He is coming to campus at the invitation of the Distinguished Speakers Board, a student organization at CU-Boulder.</p>
- <p>The Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ's Center of the American West will host "Words to Stir the Soul and Reckon with Reality: The Six-Month Anniversary of the Fourmile Canyon Fire" on March 14.</p>
- <p>Following a more than three-month delay due to technical problems, NASA's space shuttle Discovery will make its final flight Feb. 24 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida carrying two Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ-built biomedical payload devices.</p>
- <p>The Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ, the city of Boulder and local organizations have partnered to launch a community "I Love Boulder" campaign to kick off a year of celebration about what those who call Boulder home love most about the city.</p>
- <p>For the first time in its history, the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ is ranked No. 1 in the nation for graduates serving as Peace Corps volunteers this year with 117 undergraduate alumni currently serving around the world, the Peace Corps announced today.</p>
- Colorado Business Leaders Optimistic Going Into First Quarter, Says Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØLeeds School Index<p>Colorado business leaders' confidence bounced back to pre-recession levels going into the first quarter of 2011, according to the most recent quarterly Leeds Business Confidence Index, or LBCI, released today by the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ's Leeds School of Business.</p>
- <p>The University of Colorado at Boulder's Fiske Planetarium, in partnership with the Sommers-Bausch Observatory, will host a viewing party of the total lunar eclipse on Monday, Dec. 20, starting at 10 p.m.</p>
- <p>Will Taylor, president of the University of Colorado Student Government, will travel to Moscow Nov. 13-20 as part of a delegation of 15 U.S. university student leaders selected to visit the country at the invitation of the Russian Federal Agency on Youth Affairs.</p>
- <p>Ten students from Denver Public Schools will be on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus on Oct. 30 rebuilding computers with help from CU-Boulder student mentors.</p>
