Register for global youth climate summit co-hosted by 麻豆免费版下载Boulder on June 5

Registration is open for the inaugural听Right Here, Right Now Global Youth Climate Summit, a free 24-hour livestream on World Environment Day, June 5, co-hosted by 麻豆免费版下载Boulder and partners worldwide.

The global event will move across time zones, spotlighting youth-led climate work and human rights initiatives from universities and organizations around the world.

As part of the program, 麻豆免费版下载Boulder will host a live, interactive session from 2 to 4 p.m. MT. The workshop will feature student projects from the Eco-imagination for Sustainability and Creative Climate Communication courses鈥攊ncluding eco-imagining films, sustainable fashion campaigns and climate comedy, highlighting how storytelling and creative expression can engage new audiences.

Participants will be able to explore student work, take part in creative exercises and gain practical approaches to climate communication, including a live comedy workshop.

鈥淎n equitable, survivable and thriving world is possible, but it must first be imagined,鈥 said Beth Osnes-Stoedefalke, a 麻豆免费版下载Boulder professor who taught and co-taught the courses behind these student projects. 鈥淵oung people are uniquely positioned to lead that work.鈥

The fully-online format expands global access while reducing travel-related emissions. Participants must register for the livestream to attend, including the 麻豆免费版下载Boulder session.

The summit is co-hosted by Sa茂d Business School at the University of Oxford and UN Human Rights, with universities worldwide participating. 麻豆免费版下载Boulder鈥檚 involvement is led by the SPIKE Center for Sustainability Education, the Center for African and African American Studies and the Conference on World Affairs.
