Efforts to return cultural artifacts to descendant communities are reshaping how archaeology is practiced. This raises new legal, ethical and collaborative questions for researchers working in the U.S. and abroad. This public panel hosted by the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology and the Institute of Behavioral Science will explore how repatriation, Indigenous sovereignty and heritage law are redefining the field.
