Strength training can be incredibly empowering because it shines a spotlight on all the things our amazing bodies are capable of. Learn the foundations of a strength training program and experience muscle power, increased metabolism and reduced occurrence of injury.ÌýAll levels are welcome to join.

Paddleboard Pilates

Take your Pilates off the mat and into the pool! This class will help improve your balance, core strength, and mind-body connection. Please wear appropriate clothing for the pool. All participants should be comfortable in deep water.Ìý

The Rec weight room

Running Foundations: Run a 5-10K

ÌýOpen yourself to feel the joy of running as you experience the outdoors of Boulder. Join us in this small group training to increase your confidence as you prepare to run a 5k. Personal Trainers will give you the tools and ability to apply skills learned in developing cardio endurance, muscular strength, as well as additional focus on keeping hamstrings and hips loose and comfortable as you increase your distance. Explore the fun of running. No experience necessary, meet in the Fit Well Suite.

This class covers the fundamentals and proper techniques on how to punch safely on both the heavy bag and focus mitts, perform correct footwork and develop effective defense through solo and partner drills. Taught by USA Boxing certified coach and Golden Gloves Boxer Brian Scott.

Boxing Level 2
