Chantal Iribagiza

Chantal Iribagiza holds a PhD in environmental engineering and a graduate certificate in global engineering from Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder. She is passionate about hands-on, interdisciplinary engineering education and has engineering practice experience in the field of international development. Iribagiza has previously worked as a water infrastructure engineer in Rwanda and consultant for the World Bank in Washington D.C. She is passionate about reducing inequalities in access to services, resources, opportunities and improving human welfare, the environment and economies globally.

Dr. Iribagiza teaches GEEN 2010 Engineering Tools and Analysis, GEEN 1400 Engineering Projects, and COEN 1500 First Year Seminar. Previously taught classes include CVEN 4969 Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), and a microcredential course on integrated water resources management targeting professionals in the water sector in LMICs.
