Anonymous questions in the Workshop Slack workspace
In most cases, when using the , your name will associated with any comments that you make.
Posting anonymously is simple, but takes a bit of extra effort.
- It does not matter what channel you start in
- In the text entry box at the bottom of the page, type /anon
- When / is typed, a menu will appear
- Continue typing anon and it will take you to the AnonimityBot menu
- At this point there are two ways to proceed, it does not matter which you choose
- The 鈥�/anon鈥� method
- Press space after /anon and the menu will disappear, and you will have an 鈥�/anon听鈥� in the text field
- Type your question after 鈥�/anon听鈥�
- Press Enter or click the 鈥淪end鈥� arrow
- A dialog box will appear that contains your message
- Click on the 鈥淪elect a channel or type it鈥檚 name鈥� drop down
- Select the 鈥�#anonymous-question-box鈥� channel
- Click 鈥淐ontinue鈥� to post your question
- The 鈥淧ost anonymously with AnonimityBot鈥� method
- Click on the 鈥淧ost anonymously with AnonimityBot鈥� menu entry
- A dialog box will appear
- Type your message into the 鈥淢essage鈥� field
- Click on the 鈥淪elect a channel or type it鈥檚 name鈥� drop down
- Select the 鈥�#anonymous-question-box鈥� channel
- Click 鈥淐ontinue鈥� to post your question
