Research Programs

Ìý

The current focus of Prof Bogatin'sÌýresearch activities is in four areas related toÌýsignal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), electromagnetic compliance (EMC) and project-based hands-on electronics education for undergraduates.

Our work with undergraduate and graduate students is only possible through the generous donations from companies and individuals.Ìý

If you would like to make a personal donation to support our research program, please and under Gift Designation, select Eric Bogatin Research Fund.

Please consider asking your company to provide a gift donation to the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØFoundation to support our research effort. If you would like more information about providing a gift donation, Eric.Bogatin@colorado.edu, Ìýand I will get you in touch with the Foundation office.Ìý

Current researchÌýprojects, in collaboration with Prof Piket-May and students:

  • Developing very low-cost technology solutions to SI, PI, or EMI problems.
  • Developing hands-on labs of pathological and best measurement, design, and simulation practices for SI/PI/EMC using open source circuit boards
  • Developing best practices for improving measurement-simulation correlation in interconnections and circuits from 1 Hz to 40 GHz.
  • Developing very low-cost, high-performance software-defined instruments (SDI)
