Tenure-Track Faculty in Electrical, Computer and Energy EngineeringÌý

The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) is hiring two tenure-track professors at the Assistant Professor rank. We will consider candidates in all areas of electrical and computer engineering.Ìý

Potential research areas of interest include communications, power, sensing, controls, robotics, signals, computing hardware and theory for quantum technologies. We are particularly interested in candidates who bridge disciplines, have synergistic interests with existing faculty, or bring unique capabilities.

The anticipated academic-year salary range for this position at the Assistant Professor rank is $115,000-$145,000. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, however for full consideration please apply by November 15, 2026.

Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor of Electrical Engineering for the Engineering Partnership Program at Colorado Mesa University

The Department of Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering (ECEE) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ (Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder) invites applications for a full-time Teaching Faculty position with the Engineering Partnership Program (EPP) at Colorado Mesa University (CMU). This position is based at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and is anticipated to begin in August 2027.

This position involves teaching upper-division undergraduate engineering courses which could include:

  • Microelectronics
  • Electromagnetic fields and waves
  • Senior design/capstone courses
  • Power electronics and/or power systems
  • Engineering electives aligned with program needs and also available to electrical engineering students

The anticipated salary range for this position at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank is $85,000 - $95,000 academic year salary. Qualified candidates will be considered for the Associate Teaching Professor rank. The salary range for this position at the Associate Teaching Professor rank is $90,000 - $105,000 dependent on rank.
