- Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder does not to collect the following information, except as required by federal or state law (such as for employment verification, for example), as necessary to perform duties, or to verify a person’s eligibility for a government-funded program if verification is a necessary condition of government funding or participation:Ìý

- Place of birth;Ìý
- Immigration or citizenship status; orÌý
- Information from passports, permanent resident cards, alien registration cards, or employment authorization documents.Ìý

- Aside from the above, Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder may release an above-listed record if pursuant to:Ìý

- ÌýA subpoena, order, or warrant issued by a federal judge or federal magistrate; orÌý
- The consent of the student or the student’s parent or guardian through a valid release of information.Ìý

- Responsible Employees. Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder designates the following responsible employees to be notified if information or access is requested for federal immigration enforcement:Ìý

Ìý 1. ÌýPersonal identifying information (PII) of a current or former student;ÌýÌý
Ìý 2. ÌýPII of a parent, guardian, or relative of a student;Ìý
Ìý 3.Ìý Access or consent to access non-public areas; andÌý
Ìý 4. ÌýInformation required by state or federal law in response to a subpoena, order, or warrantÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý issued by a federal judge or federal magistrate.Ìý

C. ÌýInformation Requested of Federal Immigration Enforcement. Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder shall request and documentÌýÌýÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌý Ìýthe following information from the federal immigration enforcement authority:Ìý
Ìý
1.Ìý The first and last name, employer, and badge number of the person leading the federalÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌý Ìýimmigration enforcement; andÌýÌý
2.Ìý A copy of the subpoena, warrant, or order issued by a federal judge or federal magistrate toÌýÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌý allow access.Ìý

D. ÌýCommunication of Information. Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder shall promptly share information, as appropriate, aboutÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý a federal immigration authority’s request for information or access to the student who was theÌýÌýÌýÌý
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý subject of the request, or to the parent, guardian, or relative of the student.Ìý
