Zhouhang Ye is a PhD student in Finance at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ. His research interests lie in household finance, financial intermediation, credit markets, and information frictions. He studies how households and financial institutions respond to changes in credit conditions, housing markets, and economic policies, with a particular focus on how these responses shape financial vulnerability and resilience during periods of economic stress.
Prior to joining the PhD program, Zhouhang worked as a Research Associate at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he conducted empirical research on banking networks, corporate governance, and firms’ responses to financial shocks. His work combines large-scale data construction with econometric methods to examine how institutional characteristics and past experiences influence financial decision-making.
Zhouhang received an MS in Economics from Georgetown University and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from George Washington University. His current research agenda explores the transmission of financial shocks across households, firms, and financial institutions, and the role of expectations and information in shaping economic outcomes.
