Summer Course Registration

The Right Mindset for Success

Distance learning offers great flexibility, but it requires a specific mindset. Summer sessions are intensive; information is delivered at three times the pace of the academic year.Ìý

To succeed, you must:

  • Be self-motivated and highly responsible.
  • Engage actively with all course materials.
  • Read all directions thoroughly and meet strict deadlines.

Registration & Modalities

Registration begins March 4, 2026. Please check your specific enrollment dates in Buff Portal before searching for classes. Available Summer classes can be found at .

We offer two distinct distance learning formats:

  • Remote (Synchronous): These function like traditional in-person classes. You will meet via video during scheduled times (M–F). Attendance is expected, and exams occur during class hours.
  • Online (Asynchronous): You will watch daily recordings on your own schedule. However, exams are fixed at 7:00 PM MT. This format requires significant self-initiative.

Note: If you prefer more structure or direct faculty interaction, we strongly encourage enrolling in the Remote sections.

Important Dates & Deadlines

All foundation courses follow the Variable Sessions calendar. Because these sessions are short, the "Add" and "Drop" windows are very narrow. Exam dates and times are non-negotiable.
