A Day in the Life of a Leeds Staff Member

I like to start my day bright and early with a cup of coffee and gratitude! We are so fortunate to call Boulder home, and our Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcommunity is second to none. This morning, I ventured out onto the Koelbel balcony to take in the beauty of the Flatirons and campus.
In addition to my primary responsibilities on our Graduate Admissions team, I also have the pleasure of serving on the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder Staff Council. We hosted a blood drive with our partner, Vitalant. We were able to secure blood donations for more than 500 Boulder residents!
I was privileged to attend the Public Health Capstone Symposium. It was inspiring to see students showcase the culmination of their academic journeys with such confidence, rigor and genuine pride in their work. Pictured with me is Isabella Perrin (MCDBio’27), who researched the impact of mental health as it relates to community access to green space. Well done, Isabella!
Leeds faculty and staff work hard to support our students. So at the end of a successful academic year, we celebrate a job well done by all. This after- noon, I attended the End-of-Year Faculty and Staff Ice Cream Social. I was joined by staff members Jackie Juarez and Julie Noble as we enjoyed a sweet sendoff to the spring 2026 semester.
I ended the day with a special visit to Coors Field to celebrate one of our graduate students. Grace Tynecki (MBA’26) is a senior account manager for the Colorado Rockies. Beyond her success in the classroom, Grace also positively impacts our Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcommunity by engaging with incoming students and participating in cross-functional activities. She always finds ways to enhance the student experience at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder.
