CPR and Stop the Bleed classes available to the campus community
Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEmergency Medical Services is offering both CPR and Stop the Bleed courses for the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder community.Â
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support course trains participants to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality CPR, use an AED and deliver effective ventilation for adults, children and infants in both in- and out-of-hospital settings.
The American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed course teaches attendees how to identify and stop life-threatening bleeding through the use of tourniquets, wound packing and direct pressure.Â
