Extreme Ownership

Extreme Ownership (EO) is a 12-week leadership development program for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder staff members.

The program is based on the New York Times bestselling book by former Navy SEALs Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. Through real-world combat stories, they share leadership lessons that apply to the workplace, at home, and in everyday life.

We chose Extreme Ownership because its leadership principles are practical, proven, and used across many industries. While this approach may feel different from traditional higher education training, it offers a powerful framework for building accountability, teamwork and decision-making skills.

At its core, Extreme Ownership is about taking responsibility. As a leader—at work and beyond—you play a key role in shaping outcomes. The idea is simple, but putting it into practice takes effort, reflection and a willingness to grow.
