Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder celebrates topping out of new chemistry and applied mathematics facility
New facility will support research and teaching in fields including analytical spectroscopy, environmental chemistry, computational mathematics and the statistical sciences
Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder on Wednesday, Sept. 23, marked a major milestone in the construction of its new Chemistry and Applied Mathematics (CHAP) facility, celebrating the topping out of the building with university leaders, project partners, faculty and staff.
The ceremony recognized completion of the building's structural frame and provided an opportunity to honor the many people helping bring the project from vision to reality.Ìý
"The progress we celebrate today reflects the dedication and collaboration of countless individuals who have helped advance this project," said Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder Chancellor Justin Schwartz. "The Chemistry and Applied Math facility will be transformational in supporting the next generation of discoveries, learning opportunities and interdisciplinary partnerships at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder."
