Dear colleagues,

Welcome back and I hope you are all having a great start to 2026.  While the winter break seems like just yesterday, the semester is well under way. We’ve already had a chance to celebrate MLK Day together, and have moved to the next phase of campus-level faculty review of promotion and tenure cases. It’s probably too early to mention our spring commencement, but we are aiming to start a new tradition of a robust faculty representation at our campuswide ceremony. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.Ìý
