As you may be aware, the White House on Wednesday night rescinded previous guidance contained within a May 13, 2016, Dear Colleague Letter regarding transgender rights at K-12 and higher education campuses. This announcement does not alter existing federal or Colorado state law that provides discrimination protection for transgender people, nor will it change campus policies.

Campus leadership has begun the conversation of reframing the three campus touchstones (student success, reputation聽and alternate revenue) into a series of ideas that more holistically describe our goals as a university. Provost Moore updates the campus on some of the activities underway to support these goals.
