All campus offices can now purchase high-quality carbon offsets easily and at a great rate through the Environmental Center. In order to centralize efforts in mitigating climate footprints, any campus department can purchase carbon offsets for travel, conferences, day-to-day use, employee commuting or large purchases easily via an online purchasing form.
The National Procurement Institute Inc. (NPI) has announced the University of Colorado as one of the recipients of their 2016 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) awards.
Alumni and the campus community are encouraged to celebrate their Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØpride at Homecoming this weekend. In keeping with Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØtradition, the annual parade and pep rally will begin at 7 p.m. Friday on Pearl Street. Come watch colorful student-built floats make their way down the street and then join in the festivities as the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSpirit Team and Marching Band perform during the pep rally at the courthouse lawn.
Typically, when we think of building an inclusive and diverse community, it is racial/ethnic, gender and gender identity diversity that immediately comes to mind. Also, many times, members of a diverse population are thought of on a univariate dimension and not on a multiple layers. However, there is one underrepresented group of people whom contribute to diversity across all races, ethnicities, ages and genders; people with disabilities.
It isn’t unusual for some first-year students to struggle academically while getting used to university life. That’s where Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder’s Academic Success and Achievement Program (ASAP) comes in. ASAP is an amazing and free on-campus tutoring program offered to any student living on campus.

You Asked. We Listened. The University Libraries would like to thank the hundreds of students and faculty who filled out our recent user survey. We’d like to share what we learned. We made several changes in response the last survey, three years ago, and this year’s results showed big improvements. This year’s survey demonstrated some consistent themes about where we’re succeeding and where we need to improve.

In 1899, 23 years after the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ was established, a Greek professor began his career at the university. After three decades of service, 22 of which were as Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØpresident, the school was forever changed.
