BFA in Acting Application

Please have all application materials submitted as soon as possible, including the student and reference sections.We recommend you startearly because you must submit the student section before your referee can begin the reference section. Failure to meet the application requirements may result inineligibility.

Required Materials

  • Acting instructor’s name and e-mail addressso that they can provide your reference. You must confirm this with them in advance
  • Cumulative GPA, found on(students must maintain at least a 2.0)
  • Statement of intention(250 words maximum) describing a significant moment in your life that led you to pursue acting, and your goals for your acting training
  • Resumeof acting training and experience,no longer than one page
  • Headshot(full-page photograph of your face),no larger than 1 MB

    • Under "Save As" select "JPG" in the dropdown.
    • In the "JPG Max Filesize" field, enter 1024 (Technically, 1 MB = 1,024 KB).

    • Click "Save to Disk". "
