Beginning July 2026, the Buff Pantry will use for all online ordering and student messaging.

The Buff Pantry, Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder's on-campus food pantry, supports all undergraduate and graduate students experiencing food insecurity.Ìý

Students are welcome to visit the Buff Pantry once per week and select grocery items of their choosing. Beginning July 8, students may place one online order per week. Orders must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance, excluding weekends. For example, to pick up an order on Monday, you must submit it by 11:59 p.m. Saturday. Basic needs center staff and volunteers need adequate time to pack and store orders.ÌýÌý

The Buff Pantry provides fresh produce, shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food and personal care items at no cost to students. Food and personal care item selection will vary based on availability, donations and time of year.ÌýÌý

How do I visit the Buff Pantry?

Step 1: Register
  • Visit and click “Log in at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ.â€
  • Use your IdentiKey and password to log in.
  • Complete the registration form. All students using the Buff Pantry must complete this form once per academic year.Ìý
Step 2: Place an Order

Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to make an appointment. When you log in to PantrySoft, you can view all upcoming appointments.ÌýÌý

  • Scroll through the page for an available appointment slot that works for you.Ìý
  • Click the + sign next to the appointment slot to select it.
  • Once you select your appointment, you’ll be taken to the confirmation page. You’ll also get an appointment confirmation via email.Ìý

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment on the confirmation page if the time no longer works for you. You won't be able to schedule more than one appointment at a time.Ìý

Step 3: Visit the Buff Pantry

Appointment slots are one hour each. You can visit the pantry any time within the hour on your appointment date. Bring your Buff OneCard and several reusable bags to your appointment.

  • Students will only be allowed to shop in the pantry with an appointment. Friends, roommates or other companions must book an appointment to visit the pantry.
  • Students will not be allowed to enter the pantry earlier than their scheduled appointment.Ìý
  • Staff will allow students to enter the pantry if they are late to their scheduled appointment.ÌýÌý

Buff Pantry Online Ordering System FAQs

The online ordering system allows students to preselect pantry items online and pick them up during scheduled pickup windows.
The online ordering system is a student-centered enhancement to campus pantry services. It allows students to preorder food items online for scheduled pickup. The system is designed to:
  • Increase access
  • Reduce wait times
  • Improve inventory management
  • Align with best practices at peer institutions
At this time, the pantry will continue using an online ordering system. This may change in the future.
Students may place one order per week. Item limits apply to ensure equitable access for all students.
Orders must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. For example, to pick up an order on Tuesday, submit it by 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Summer pickup schedule:
  • Tuesdays: 12:30 to 4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays:
    • 9:30 a.m. to noon
    • 12:30 to 4 p.m.
You may arrive at any time during your selected pickup window.
  • Items shown in the system reflect current inventory.
  • If an item becomes unavailable, it may be substituted with a similar item when possible.

Can I switch or swap items during pickup?
No, item changes are not available at pickup.

How do I shop with dietary restrictions?
You can filter items by allergens in the system.
  • Each student is assigned 20 credits per order, per week.
  • Credits help ensure equitable access and support storage capacity.
If you need more than the weekly limit, contact the Buff Pantry for assistance and additional food resources.
  • Orders not picked up during the scheduled window will be canceled.
  • Repeated no-shows may limit future ordering access.

Donate your reusable grocery bags to the Buff Pantry

The Basic Needs Center collects reusable bag donations for students using the Buff Pantry. Drop off donations at the Buff Pantry during regular hours of operation.Ìý

Support the Basic Needs Center by donating food and personal care items to the Buff Pantry. The Buff Pantry accepts shelf-stable items with at least a three-month window to expiration.
