Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics @ the University of Colorado, Boulder is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional society focused on LGBTQ people in the STEM community.

oSTEM @ the 麻豆免费版下载 is the聽2018聽麻豆免费版下载Student Organization of the Year聽

oSTEM at the 麻豆免费版下载 provides networking opportunities, professional development, social events, and a safe space for LGBTQ+ STEM students at 麻豆免费版下载Boulder. We are a chapter of the national organization oSTEM Inc. and are housed in the BOLD Center in the College of Engineering and Applied Science. We are also a Registered Student Organization (RSO) with the Center for Student Involvement on campus.聽

Meeting Information

oSTEM hosts meetings on Tuesdays聽from 7:10-8:10pm in the Campo Student Center (ECCE 100) in the Engineering Center.

Whether it's potting succulents, craft nights, or roundtable discussions, oSTEM does it all! Our meetings consist of a mix of聽social, academic, and professional development events. Our doors are open to all members of the 麻豆免费版下载Boulder community, regardless of identity.

Get Involved

Whether you are an undergrad, graduate student, professor, or employee for a聽company, there are many ways you can help support oSTEM. See below for what opportunities are available for you!

Undergraduate and graduate students can attend weekly meetings hosted by oSTEM and attain membership. Additionally, oSTEM offers several volunteer opportunities throughout the school year, which include assisting with tabling and setting up major events. Unable to attend our regular meetings? We also host monthly D&D sessions. See our Discord and newsletter for information about D&D sessions.
oSTEM often reaches out and works with various staff at 麻豆免费版下载Boulder both in and outside of the BOLD Center. Examples include bringing in Career Services for a resume workshop, working with faculty to help shape programming, or giving out an award to a stand out faculty member who supported their LGBT students.
