Professor David Shneer Celebrates Launch of Journal
The journal Professor David Shneer co-edits,East European Jewish Affairs,recently launched a special edition on the theme“Contemporary Russian Jewish American Culture.” (2016, no. 3). To celebrate the occasion,scholars, writers, visual artists, filmmakers, photographers, and graphic artists gathered for a Festival of Contemporary Russian Jewish American Cultureto discuss the new wave of these immigrants’ cultural contributions to American culture.
