We sent this email on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, to instructors with post access who had unapproved grades in one or more Summer Session classes (law, specialized program, thesis and dissertation classes excluded).

Dear [instructor],

You have overdue grades for one or more summer sessions. It is critical that you post these grades immediately, because late grades cause serious consequences for your students.

Web grading is the only method of posting grades, including late grades. Do not email grades, as this violates campus security policies.

All grades must be posted to avoid causing serious negative consequences for your students, which may include academic standing, financial aid and graduation eligibility.

You must complete grading immediately by following these steps:

On MyCUInfo's Teaching Tools tab, click "Go to Web Grading."
If the wrong term is selected, click "Change Term."
Click the grade roster icon next to the class you want to grade.
Sync, upload or enter your grades.
Approve and post your grade roster(s).

If you successfully completed your degree requirements this summer, congratulations! Here's what happens next.

Note: For doctoral (AuD, DMA and PhD) and SLHS-MA students, the last day to update your diploma name and address was Friday, Aug. 7 and transcripts with these degrees posted become available to order on Friday, Aug. 14.

Friday, Aug. 28

Last day for undergraduate and master's students to update your diploma name and address. If you don't enter a diploma address, we'll mail your diploma to your home address instead.

International students: We've been running into significant delays and complications with international delivery of diplomas and other documents. We strongly advise you to enter a local/domestic diploma address to ensure delivery to yourself or a trusted individual.

Friday, Sept. 4

Transcripts with undergraduate and master's degrees posted are available for order after 5 p.m. If you don't have a hold preventing the release of your transcript, you can order an official transcript online.

Friday, Sept. 11

Transcripts with certificates posted are available for order after 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

Your complimentary certified electronic diploma is ready to download. Paper diplomas are mailed out. Delivery to summer graduates with U.S. addresses should be complete by Nov. 20; international delivery continues through Dec. 25, 2026.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

If you earned one, your complimentary certified electronic certificate is ready to download and your paper certificate is mailed out. Please allow four to six weeks for domestic delivery.
