Hi, my name is Rylie Stark. I have always been drawn to visual storytelling, especially through photography, video, and design. What started as just taking photos has turned into a way for me to capture people, style, and moments that feel genuine but still intentional. I’m especially inspired by fashion and the way visuals can tell a story without always needing words. Studying media production has helped me shape that concept into something more focused, where I now think about the intention and meaning behind my projects in a way I never did before.Ìý

I came to Boulder from the East Coast, not knowing anyone, unsure of what my life here would look like. Over time, I found friendships that ended up shaping everything. This book reflects that experience through the people who became my home. The photos capture the way we experienced Boulder together, whether we were getting ready for a night out, going on new adventures every weekend, or just staying in and laughing all night. I have always had a deep love for fashion, which my friends also shared with me, as everyone has their own distinct sense of style that reflects who they are. Through 1both photography and writing, I wanted to capture not just how they look, but what they mean to me. This project is a reflection of a time, a feeling, and the people who defined it.
