Michael Newkirk is a senior at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ studying Media Production with a minor in Anthropology. His work focuses on visual storytelling at the intersection of people, place, and wildlife, with an emphasis on natural light and immersive, observational filmmaking. He has experience shooting live sports, concerts, and documentary projects, and is currently completing a capstone film exploring human–wildlife interactions in Evergreen, Colorado. Michael also works in photography, capturing portraits, events, and landscapes, and is pursuing his FAA Part 107 certification to expand into aerial cinematography.

The film highlights both the beauty and responsibility of living alongside wildlife, offering a grounded look at how humans and animals share the same space.
