Somebody Has to Know
This documentary investigates the death of Megan Trussell, a Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ student whose death was ruled a suicide. Her family disputes the conclusion of the investigation and has raised concerns that key questions and potential leads were not followed up on.Ìý
Through interviews with Megan's mother, archival footage, audio from public sources, and observational footage filmed throughout Boulder, the film examines unanswered questions around the investigation. It also explores broader themes of justice, inviting viewers to question which stories get told, which are overlooked, and what happens when families are left seeking for answers after being failed by the very institutions meant to protect them.Ìý
The case is currently under review, and the film calls for continued attention and action towards justice.Ìý
