These photos were taken over the course of about 3 months. Rocky mountain national park has been such an essential piece of my experience at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder and this project serves as my way of saying thank you.

My name is Andy Purpura and I am a graduating media production major at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder. Wildlife and nature photography is a strong passion of mine and that passion has only grown stronger while in attendance at CU. I've loved the outdoors my whole life and as I get older the need for us as humans to connect with and protect nature has only grown in importance. I hope to continue my passion for wildlife photography in a professional context and keep pushing the importance and joy of being in the outdoors. Ìý

These photos were taken over the course of about 3 months. they were all taken on a canon rebel 2000 film camera on various different types of both black and white and color film. I captured mountains, roads, and various species of wildlife that all come together to make the park what it is. I also decided to create my own DIY slide projector to showcase some other photos that maybe didn't fit my arrangements as well or didn't look as good. This projector was made out of wood, a magnifying glass lens, and a flashlight. The photos were printed on transparent paper in order for them to be projected. Rocky mountain National Park has given me so many wonderful memories with friends and families and has been a main source of connection to my love for the outdoors.Ìý
