Connie is studying media production and atmospheric and oceanic sciences pursuing her passion for visual storytelling whether it is raw stories through documentary filmmaking or experimental poetic work to push the boundaries. Her work focuses on humanity, culture, and the wilderness. She is passionate about the environment and wildlife and wants to spread awareness for a brighter, more sustainable future.

Lifeboat
Lifeboat is a 5 minute short film/poetic documentary that highlights the beauty of Earth while also addressing the risks it faces if humans do not make a change to their way of living. The piece discusses the ways our planet can change and how it puts all life on Earth at risk. It suggests that rather than being separate from Earth, we amongst all other forms of life, are part of one whole system that upholds it and we depend on it.
Though it is an urgent warning of the consequences of human action, it does not stray from hope. It reminds us that it is not too late and the human race is in charge of what path we will end up taking. It showcases the beauty of our planet and that it is worth saving.
