Dr. Anna Hermes is a Senior Watershed Scientist in the Water Quality Department at Northern Water in Berthoud, Colorado. She works at the intersection of science, policy, and stakeholder engagement, translating complex information into water management strategies and restoration projects that support resilient watersheds. Her work focuses on environmental compliance for the Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP), contributing to data analyses that inform regional water quality patterns and trends, and collaborating with regional stakeholder groups. Anna is a Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder alumna, earning her PhD in Biogeochemistry from the Environmental Studies Department and INSTAAR in 2021. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring local streams and parks with her partner and two young daughters!
