Award Descriptions
Students and servant leaders who complete at least 60 hours of transformational service each year they are a member of the Presidents Leadership Class. They have displayed the leadership and service competencies of civic responsibility, community impact, participatory leadership, ethical engagement, intercultural awareness, personal growth, critical thought and problem-solving, and consistent application of classroom based leadership in real world settings. Students who earn this award have become leaders through their service and have created sustainable changes in the communities that surround them.
Students developing into servant-leaders by completing at least 40 hours of transformational service each year they are a member of the Presidents Leadership Class. They have displayed the leadership and service competencies of civic responsibility, community impact, participatory leadership, ethical engagement, intercultural awareness, personal growth, critical thought and problem-solving, and reflection.
Students who demonstrate a service mindset through at least 20 hours of transformational service each year they are a member of the Presidents Leadership Class. They have displayed the leadership and service competencies of community impact, participatory leadership, ethical engagement, intercultural awareness, personal growth, and reflection.
