The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) would like to share that the has been updated as of July 1, 2026. The updated policy was amended and approved by President Saliman to strengthen protections, clarify disclosure requirements, and more clearly distinguish conflicts in consensual relationships from behaviors that would fall under the.Ìý
The Consensual Amorous Relationships Policy applies regardless of the sex or gender of the individuals involved and to all university employees (faculty and staff), regents, university affiliates, student employees, and students. In situations involving spouses, civil union or domestic partners, applies, not this policy.Ìý
