Brief Bio: Max Elling is a Ph.D. Candidate who joined the Oceans & Climate Lab in the Fall of 2024. Max was previously a Scientific Programmer in the at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (). At GISS, Max researched the behavior of climate extremes in and the consequences of model differences on climate impact-drivers. He was also a curator and a participating researcher in the . Before GISS, Max completed an , where he worked at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (), the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (), and the . At Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, Max is investigating the interactions between climate and health.
