Hello! My name is Chris Tejas (he/him/his). Originally from Arkansas, I earned a double major in Criminology and Sociology from Arkansas State University - Beebe. During my undergraduate experience, I discovered my passion for higher education while serving as a Resident Assistant, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in Residence Life and student engagement.Ìý

Although I grew up in Arkansas, I spent six years living in Bangor, Maine, and I consider it my home. During that time, I worked as a Resident Director at Husson University. In my current role, I enjoy helping student build connections on campus and creating a strong sense of belonging in their community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking and cooking, watching movies, playing video games, and caring for my ever-growing collection of plants.Ìý
