Linguistics Recognition Ceremony

The Spring 2026ÌýDepartment of Linguistics recognition graduation ceremony will take place onÌýSaturday, May 2, 2026Ìýat 12:00 pmÌýMDTÌýin the Muenzinger Auditorium (MUEN E050),Ìý1905 Colorado Avenue, Boulder, CO.Ìý

The ceremony is approximately oneÌýhour long and is a regalia (cap andÌýgown) event, to celebrate our graduates of Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026. A reception will follow the ceremony; it will be held on the Muenzinger plaza, outside of the auditorium, from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend our ceremony and reception. We ask that all graduates walking in our ceremony to arrive at Muenzinger by 11:30am (main campus ceremony permitting) so we can check you in and get you lined up for the processional.Ìý

  • We do not require or give tickets for our event. It is open to all attendees.

  • Graduates are strongly encouraged to wear regalia (cap & gown). You can purchase regalia from the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBook Store either in-store or online.
  • At our ceremony, diploma covers will be distributed. If you are not attending the LinguisticsÌýceremony but wish to pick up a diploma cover from our office, please emailÌýlinguist@colorado.edu. Your official diploma will be mailed to your permanent address on file with Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder.
