ÌýÌýPh.D. Chemical and Biological Engineering, 2025–present

Michelle is a PhD student in biological engineering interested in uncovering new mechanisms for phage defense in bacteria. Before coming to CU, she attended Cornell University, where she studied recombinant protein expression in microalgae, and then worked as a process development scientist at Merck & Co. Outside the lab, she enjoys climbing, hiking, and watching birds in the backyard with her cat, Friday.
