LING  3210 English for Academic Purposes is designed to help you sharpen your English accuracy through academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening practice. Learn to express ideas more clearly, both orally and in writing, while engaging critically in class discussions, and giving presentations, including on a researched topic related to your major. Improve your grammatical accuracy, expand your vocabulary, and deepen your critical thinking skills.

Students can self-enroll on the Buff Portal. This course counts as an elective and includes the following course attributes:

  • CMDI Core: Humanities and the Arts
  • Education General Education: Arts and Humanities

LING 3210 does not count toward the Linguistics major or minor.
