What is self-directed learning?
Self-directed learning refers to learning opportunities that you can access and complete at any time. Self-directed learning can also be described as: on-demand, self-paced, just-in-time, online, asynchronous.

How to Access Self-Directed Learning Opportunities
Skillsoft Percipio is more than just compliance training.
Percipio hosts thousands of online courses including required training, custom courses, instructor-led training (ILT) registrations, as well as online books and videos covering the latest professional topics.

- Log on to your .
- Open the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØResourcesÌýdropdown menu (Skip this step if you are a System employee)
- Select Training.
- Click the Skillsoft Percipio tile.
An online library of instructional videos, taught by accomplished instructors and recognized industry experts, that cover the latest software, creative, and business skills. LinkedIn Learning is available to all Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØemployees and students at no additional cost.

- Log on to your .
- Open the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØResource dropdown menu.
- Select Training.
- Click the LinkedIn Learning tile.
The University of Colorado offers the following sponsored learning programs:
- Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØon Coursera: Courses taught by Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØfaculty with over 200 non-credit courses that offer a Coursera certificate. Available to faculty, staff, students, and POIs.
- Coursera Partner Consortium: Courses taught by faculty with Coursera’s elite global university partners. Non-credit courses offer a Coursera certificate is available to faculty, staff, and degree-seeking students.
- Log on to your campus portal ().
- Open the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØResources dropdown menu and select Training.
- Click the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØonÌýCourseraÌýor Coursera Partner Consortium tile.
- On theÌýhome page, click Join for Free.
- Click the Log in with the University of Colorado button.
- Select your campus and then log in using your Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcredentials.
