There are 35 prescription drug deaths every month in Colorado.ÌýÌýÌýandÌýÌýall contribute to keeping our communities, environmentÌýand peers healthy.
Medication disposal
Need to dispose of unused medication? Visit the permanent prescription take-back box located in the lobby of theÌýPolice and Parking Services building at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder. Campus community members can dispose of unwanted prescription medications in this box at any time. CUPD isÌýable to accept over-the-counter and prescription medications with the following exceptions:
- NoÌýneedles or sharps,
- NoÌýmercury (thermometers),
- NoÌýoxygen cylinders or pressurized canisters,
- NoÌýchemotherapy or radioactive substances, and
- NoÌýillicit drugs.
