If you are interested in starting or continuing hormone therapy, please call 303-492-5432 to schedule a consultation appointment. Please note, Medical Services does not require letters of support for students wanting to initiate or continue hormone therapy.Ìý
Our clinic offers Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), a medication that can help prevent the transmission of HIV. If you are interested in obtaining a PrEP prescription, please call 303-492-5432.Ìý
The Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) offers a variety of benefits for LGBTQ+ students, including hormone therapy, surgery (genital and non-genital) and more. Our health insurance team can assist you in reviewing your benefits and answering questions related to insurance coverage or billing. For more information, please call 303-492-5107.Ìý
If you are over the age of 18, your medical records are not accessible to others unless you sign a release of information. Please note that if you are on an insurance plan under a family member, some codes and charges may be present on the explanation of benefits (EOB) that is submitted to the policy owner. If your surgeon requires a referral letter, you can schedule an appointment with a Medical Services provider. If your surgeon requires two letters, please schedule an appointment with Medical Services and Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). If you work with an out-of-state surgeon, our team can help coordinate and provide post-surgical care upon your return to campus.ÌýTheÌýÂé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØGold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)Ìýprovides unlimited surgical benefits.
